HEALED AT LAST
Part 3

 

A final look at the story of the woman with the blood issue:

 

After the woman confessed to Jesus why she touched His garment, He said to her, “Daughter be of good comfort: thy faith has made thee whole; go in peace.”

 

Can you imagine how she must have felt!  Jesus (God Himself) claimed her.  He called her “daughter.”  Can you understand what her faith had done for her?  She was chained at one time by a blood issue.  Then she put action to her faith and was changed.  Now she was claimed into God’s family.

 

Let me ask you a question.  Was it by chance that she decided to go for a walk and happen to come upon Jesus?  Or had God heard her cries at night and felt her pain and knew her heart?

My friend, what are you chained by?  Do you want to be changed?  Are you willing to reach out to the only one who can set you free….Jesus Christ?  Do you want to be made clean?  Have you been claimed by Jesus, but still have some problems to work out?  This week, bring these questions before the Father.  He is waiting with arms open wide.  

 

Pray This Prayer With Sincerity:  

Father, I know you are no respecter of persons.  If you can heal the woman in the Bible, then you can heal me.  Help my unbelief.  Let me start today in believing in Your Word, through Jesus Christ.  Walk with me this moment, as I give you my hidden secret and my hidden pain.  Hold me as I give you my life.  In Jesus’ name.
