WHAT IF?

Part 1

We have spent many months looking into God’s Word, learning how our past hurts and wounds can be healed.  It would be great to say that you will never be hurt again, but we live in a world of hurting people. What should we do when the past tries to come back and haunt us?

What if?

  1. You are abused again.

  2. You are told you are no good.

  3. You are told you cannot make it.

  4. No one will ever love you.

Will you panic?  What is panic?

Panic is a sudden unreasonable fear, which overpowers.  Panic will begin in your mind. It is vital that your mind is under control. We should think on things above. We should be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Our thoughts should be lovely, pure, true, just .

When Panic begins, you are living in fear, we know that there is no fear in love.  Perfect love casts out all fear. God is love.  Fear causes torment. Put your trust in the Lord, let Him direct your path. Jesus is there for you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Panic and fear want to rob you of any joy or peace of mind you may have.

Father, Take my fear away.  Help me to live in your perfect love. In Jesus’ name .
